Nick Tywan


Nick Tywan has over 30 years experience within the hospitality, parking and airline industries specializing in consulting and asset management.  To his credit is an outstanding record of improving profit margins, enhancing revenues, extending market penetration, developing new revenue sources, and managing significant cost containment. His experience includes new development, procurement, re-branding, acquisitions, due diligence, market & financial analysts, and restructuring.


His property experience includes working for several large hotel companies and condominium hotels as a Vice President of Operations. During his career he has consulted and operated various brands affiliations including Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton, Conrad, St. Regis, Marriott, Renaissance, Omni, Sheraton, Hilton, Holiday Inns, Embassy Suites, Radisson, Hawthorn Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, and various independent properties.  


He is also in demand by the Parking and Airline Industry as a consultant and asset manager. AVP Hospitality currently oversees a portfolio of 27 parking operations, and is a consultant to one of the largest parking companies in the world.




Gary Gunderson


Gary’s background includes extensive business dining and food and beverage experience in the hotel and restaurant industry. His experience includes more than 29 years in corporate food service and he has completed project work in master planning, operations reviews and design services. He has earned a reputation for his international work creating “center-of-excellence” employee food service operations in Singapore, China, Mexico and Brazil. His strong operations experience, combined with strategic planning and financial analysis, are the core competencies that qualify him as a leader in this field.


Gary was the recipient of the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) Silver Plate Award in 2004, representing the Business and Industry/Foodservice Management segment. He is a founding member and past president of the Society for Foodservice Management (SFM), and was recognized with Lifetime Achievement and President Awards. He has also received Leadership Award recognition from both Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) and National Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM).
